Katto turns a YouTube link or uploaded video into a ranked set of short-form clips for social publishing. It analyzes the source for strong moments, scores candidates across hook, flow, value, and trend, then lets users choose which clips to render. The workflow is designed for podcasts, interviews, tutorials, vlogs, sports, gaming, and other long-form video. Each clip can be reframed for vertical, square, or portrait formats with subject and speaker tracking. Katto adds word-synced captions in 99 languages, animated caption styles, hooks, optional B-roll, emojis, vocal cleanup, silence removal, and background-music controls. Text-based editing lets users change the transcript by deleting or reordering words, with the corresponding cuts following the text. AI dubbing supports eight languages, and finished clips can be published or scheduled across seven platforms. The Creator plan adds 1080p exports, no watermark, multi-speaker split-screen, priority processing, scheduling, direct exports, and access to the REST API and MCP server. Developers and AI agents can submit jobs through REST, CLI, or MCP using the same video quota as the dashboard.
