Linkly AI
linkly.ai
Linkly AI indexes local documents, images, audio, and video for fast search and lets AI agents retrieve and read the right files.
What it does
Linkly AI turns a local drive into an agent-ready knowledge layer. After you add a folder, the desktop app parses and indexes its contents, so searches can combine keywords and semantic retrieval across PDFs, DOCX, Markdown, HTML, EPUB, presentations, text files, images, recordings, and videos. Results include the file path, relevance score, and snippet; its outline index helps an agent open the relevant sections of long documents instead of reading everything blindly.
The desktop app keeps source files on the local machine, while connected agents receive only the snippets they need. Users can work offline, organize materials into libraries, and share a library through a link with controls for viewing and collaboration. Cross-language semantic search is powered by a local multilingual model.
For terminal-oriented workflows, Linkly offers CLI commands to search, inspect outlines, narrow results by format, library, path, or modification date, and read selected line ranges. MCP and CLI integrations connect the index to agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and other supported tools. Knowledge workers, researchers, students, legal teams, content creators, and project teams can use it to turn scattered local material into searchable working context.
