What it does
Spotscribe turns podcast episodes and uploaded audio or video into searchable text. The workflow is straightforward: paste a Spotify episode URL, choose a supported source such as Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or TikTok, or upload a file, then receive a transcript. Supported formats include MP3, MP4, AAC, WAV, FLAC, M4A, Ogg, Opus, and WebM.
Once an episode is processed, users can search the transcript, copy quotes or sections, and ask an AI chat assistant questions about the content. Automatic summaries surface key points and takeaways, while timestamped breakdowns link notes back to the relevant part of the audio. A visual mindmap organizes episode topics and connections. Transcripts and summaries can be exported as TXT, PDF, Word, SRT, or DOCX files, and speaker labels are available for transcript references. Summaries can be produced in more than 10 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Japanese, and Portuguese.
