Zoonote

Zoonote is an Android note-taking app built for quick access. It lets you create, view, edit, delete, and mark notes or checklist items complete directly from the lock screen and notification panel, so a reminder or shopping list is available without opening the app. A homescreen widget provides another shortcut for creating and managing notes. Use Zoonote for shopping lists, meal planning, cooking steps, errands, and recurring tasks. Notes can include images, searchable text, custom color labels, and one-time or recurring reminders. Speech-to-text turns spoken input into notes, while private notes can be hidden behind the lock screen until the device is unlocked. The app also includes archive, reminders, and trash areas to keep completed or deleted items organized. Zoonote is designed for offline use, with notes stored on the device. The press kit says it includes no tracking, ads, or telemetry, and describes a lightweight footprint of about 2 MB. Google Drive backup and restore help move notes to a new device or recover them after reinstalling. The app supports Android 8.1 and later and offers dark mode for lower-light use.
