Cilevi

Cilevi combines screen recording and video editing for Windows and Mac. Choose a display, window, or area to record; when the take opens in its Studio, the app has already added zooms based on your clicks, smoothed the pointer, and applied a background. You can adjust or remove those changes on a timeline rather than starting the edit from scratch. The Studio supports annotations, shapes, arrows, blur or mosaic regions, camera placement, transitions, voiceover, and multiple clips in one project. Captions are generated from speech on the device in 99 languages, with word-level timing; the transcript can also be used to remove a spoken passage from both the video and captions. Export as MP4 or GIF, estimate file size before rendering, or copy the result to the clipboard. The app is aimed at people making screen demonstrations, tutorials, or other shareable recordings who want to refine a take in one program. It runs locally, and recordings remain in the folder selected by the user. Cilevi is available for Windows 10 or 11 and macOS 15 or later, with separate purchases for each platform.
