Lumina AI Wellness

Lumina is a workplace wellness coach for Mac and Windows that runs quietly during long screen sessions. Its on-device analysis uses camera input as a sensor for signals related to eye fatigue, posture, screen distance, and stress. The product presents separate Eye, Posture, and Calm scores as wellness indicators, explicitly distinguishing them from medical diagnosis. The workflow combines passive monitoring with low-friction guidance. Lumina can send break reminders, eye-care and posture nudges, and prompts after extended focus sessions. Users can open short desk-friendly routines, including 20-20-20 eye relief and neck or posture resets, and complete a daily check-in to add personal context to the day’s insights. It also tracks time since the last break, estimates optimum screen distance, and supports multi-monitor setups. Privacy is central to the product’s design. Core wellness analysis runs locally, live camera frames remain on the device, and everyday camera input is not retained as video or clips. Account scores may sync securely to the cloud, while optional calibration requires consent. Lumina is intended for remote professionals, students, and other people who spend substantial time working at a computer and want gentle habit support without leaving their workflow.
